ECG Monitors

The overall goal of performing an ECG is to obtain information about the electrical functioning of the heart. 

In contrast to the standard electrocardiogram (ECG), which provides a brief sample of cardiac electrical activity, ambulatory ECG monitoring provides a view of ECG data over an extended period of time, thereby permitting evaluation of dynamic and transient cardiac electrical phenomena.
